A pure Eau-de-Vie, discreet to begin with and revealing its full character afterwards, with the finest rancio aroma, richly flavored in fruitiness and spice. Two parallel tastes giving a balanced, full bodied, unctuous sensation, with a distinctive wine-shoot, peppery and jammy prune flavor. Jean Fillioux Reserve Familiale cognac highlights the aromas of vanilla, pears and dried fruit and particularly figs. Long years of maturation have given the Reserve Familiale a bouquet, mellowness, and finesse of Rancio Charentias, the classic taste of fine old cognac.
